01/29/2007 -Las Vegas, Nevada-FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Swan Island Development, LLC. CEO Mr. Kevin E. Morrill. Update on project. 2006 has been quite a year. Swan Island Development has been in constant negotiations with several qualified developers of the caliber that could logistically and financially be capable of developing the Swan Islands as envisioned on the master plan. We have however after many meetings, cancelled our agreement with the fantasy international group. The logistical nightmare's of trying to coordinate airlift and cruise lines to not interfere with the fantasy component were just not economically viable. The fantasy component on the smaller island has been replaced
with This change allowed us to expand our base of qualified developers, and we have narrowed it down to two, I would like to make it very clear that neither has committed to the project and we are still in negotiations, on how to structure the deal with commitments from the government of Honduras, and the various development banks to make the project viable. The two developers are : Ginn Resorts, Reunion, Florida and Intrawest, of Vancouver, Canada. Both of the developers are the top in their industry and have great reputations for getting major mixed use developments built, on schedule and on time. I appreciate the continued interest in the Swan Islands Resort project, and hope that in the very near future we can begin the pre-sale and building phase.
