Las Vegas, Nevada/Tegucigalpa, Honduras - 07/19/2003 - Swan Island Development, LLC officials met with Minister Of Tourism Mr. Thierry de Pierrfeu, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on Tuesday the 15th of July. Mr. Kevin Morrill, President of Swan Island Development, LLC and Mr. David Morrissette, formerly the Senior Executive Vice President Of International Development for Marriott International, now the Vice President of Resort Development with Swan Island Development, LLC also met with the Minister to discuss the project. The Minister was pleased with our interest in developing the Swan Islands, and provided information regarding new laws that were passed in November of 2002 that will greatly assist us in getting the needed final approvals for the project. The Minister informed us of several items that were needed from us to receive such approval, and we are in the process of producing those items as expeditiously as possible. President Ricardo Maduro was elected on a anti crime/ anti corruption and pro tourism platform. The Swan island project will bring hundreds of thousands of tourists to Honduras and provide thousands of tourism and tourism related jobs for the people of Honduras. The Swan Islands Tourism project will provide millions of dollars to the government of Honduras through taxes and fees collected on the Swan Islands. We look forward to working with Minister Thierry de Pierrfeu and President Ricardo Maduro and his administration on this very important project.
